This Ocean Collection was so fun to paint! I grew up going to South Padre Island off the Gulf Coast of Texas almost every summer. The smell of the salty air and the sound of the gulls and waves take me back to those carefree childhood days.
This is the first collection I created for an online show back on 2020. It was so fun to use such bold colors. I named them after small towns in West Texas, where I was born and raised.
